My first role at National Geographic Kids Books was primarily production design. This includes: coordinating with photo researchers, designers, editors, and proofreaders; collaborating with photo retouchers to ensure clean, accurate layouts; and preparing design files to be printed, such as checking ink saturation levels, moving all text inside the trim safe guidelines, and ensuring all files are in the correct color profile.
